FAITH ~ FELLOWSHIP ~ EDUCATION ~ SERVICE

There is energy to be gained from connecting to women who are dynamic and dedicated.

Women serve as lay ministers and lectors, work on altar guilds and in church schools and nurseries.  We serve on vestries, diocesan commissions, and national Episcopal committees.  Women attend Bible studies, visit the home-bound, help maintain the church properties, and cook.

At some churches, women participate in formally structured ECW groups with officers and scheduled meeting dates.  At others, we talk informally to plan a parish event.  At most churches, the degree of organization falls somewhere in between.

A presentation at our Annual Meeting in April, 2011, outlined a new direction for the ECW. We are organizing our efforts into Ministries, which will cover a wide range of issues.  To see a PowerPoint presentation of this new direction, please click here.  Share it with the other women at your church and discuss how you might participate.

We are every woman in every pew.

Join us as we move toward a deeper understanding of Christ in our lives and the lives of others.  We welcome your participation at the church, deanery and/or diocesan level.
