                   Episcopal Charities and Community Services (ECCS) Partner Agency
The John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County serves the area's most needy patients.  Its charter requires that       no patient in Cook County be turned away.  The patient population reflects the growing diversity of the Chicago metropolitan area:  many are non-English speaking and most live below the poverty line.  Our chaplains at Stroger minister to a group of women going through especially difficult times.

  Companion Dioceses
The Diocese of Chicago supports relationships with two Diocese:  The Diocese of Southeast Mexico and the Diocese of Renk, Sudan.  The ECW provides support to both of these Diocese through year end giving and special needs gifts.

 Daughters of the King
The Order of the Daughters of the King is a group of Christian women striving to fulfill the promises of our Baptismal Covenant through the adoption of a Rule of Life.  Chapters of the Daughters of the King (DOK) are found in many Episcopal parishes throughout the Diocese.   www.doknational.org

  Episcopal Youth:  Diocese of Chicago Summer Camp
The Episcopal Diocese of Chicago conducts a summer camp each year for youth entering second grade through tenth in three separate sessions.  The summer 2012 program will be held at Fox River Country Day School in Elgin.

G     Grace House  
An ECCS partner agency

Since its opening in 1994, the Grace House residential program has provided interim housing, emotional and spiritual support, and professional counseling to women who are exiting the Illinois prison system.

Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans
 The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans is a not-for-profit transitional living facility that provides assistance to U.S. veterans of any era for the opportunity to return to useful and productive lives by providing them with the skills for independent living. New construction in 2012 will provide rooms for female veterans. www.helpaveteran.org



   The Night Ministry
The Night Ministry connects with Chicago's vulnerable youth and adults, providing basic supplies, self-care supplies, free healthcare, housing and supportive services for youth, referrals to other resources, and more.  We offer services at the moment of need on the street, a movile health bus, an our shelter and supportive services programs for homeless youth.     www.thenightministry.org
