St. John's Episcopal Church, Naperville
Silversmith Rose Jacrecki was the keynote speaker presenting a demonstration of metal working techniques that are used to create the beautiful pieces that adorn our worship spaces.
ilver from the Diocese was displayed including the Jenny Lind Chalice, the St. Andrew's Chapel chalice and alms basin, and the 100th Anniversary ECW chalice.
Additional workshops were knotted rosaries, a video "The Stone Carvers" from Washington National Cathedral, reparing vestments and Altar Guild 101.
Calvary Episcopal Church, Lombard
Men and women from churches across the region had the opportunity to view beautiful vestments on loan from 14 churches in our Diocese. Thanks to the members of Calvary Church, Lombard, we worshipped and learned together as well as shared lunch and fellowship.
Wworkshops included needleworked Chrismons, a presentation on preserving antique vestments and Altar Guild 101.
