The Episcopal Church Women support all women in their ministries - including fellowship!  At every ECW sponsored meeting, conference or event, fellowship is a big part of the day.  We share our faith, opinions and ideas, and support each other in ways that are unique to women networking in the church.

All parishes have womens ministries!  There are knitting groups, study and reading groups, prayer circles, women in the kitchen, women behind fundraising and child care.  We have young mom groups and groups for older women.  And women are behind parish outreach such as the Blessing Bags from St. Thomas, Chicago.

Each year at Diocesan Convention, the ECW invites women to bring their knitting (or other projects) and join us in our space.  We look forward to meeting you!

Many churches in our Diocese have knitting ministries.  If you would like to share information about your group or what you knit, please forward your pictures or information to:  editor@ecwchicago.org

Knitting Prayer Cards

Prayers are printed on an 8.5" x 11" card stock sheet - 4 bookmarks to a page.  Side one is a knitter's prayer and the reverse side is a prayer for healing which can be used for items that are created for comfort.
