Our Vision

A community of women supporting each other in Christ-centered ministries throughout the Diocese of Chicago.

Our Mission

We seek to support all women in our parishes without restriction by creating a greater connection between us through our faith and sisterhood with programs of education and service. We ask the Lord for guidance in translating our Christian belief into action.

Honored Women of the Diocese

The ECW Distinguished Woman recognition is given every three years at the ECW Triennial, to be held in July 2018 in conjunction with the General Convention in Austin, Texas. Please consider nominating an Episcopal woman you know whose life in the secular community reflects her Christian values.  One of these honored women will be chosen to represent the Diocese as a Distinguished Woman at Triennial.

Connect and Be Heard

Your ECW board met in June to discuss future plans for our organization. One initiative is to ask women across the diocese what they know about the ECW. The ministry of the ECW is to connect and support the women of the Episcopal Church in their missions and ministries. Let us know what you think when we call.

If you would like to share your opinion, please write to: membership@

ecwchicago.org

Members of the board are available to discuss the ECW with the women of your church.  Please contact President Beth Petti for available dates:  president@ ecwchicago.org
